As part of the J-PEAKS program, the certificate presentation ceremony for the selected projects and the information session were held on Tuesday, March 18, in the Main Conference Room of the Administration Bureau.
First, President Kiyohiro Houkin delivered words of encouragement and expressed positive expectations for the selected projects. This was followed by the presentation of certificates, which were awarded individually to each principal investigator (including acting principal investigator). After the ceremony, a photo session was held.
At the information session, Executive Vice President Tsuyoshi Setoguchi first introduced the members of the J-PEAKS Planning and Operations Office in the Institute for Integrated Innovations. Then, Advisor to the President Daichi Saito provided detailson the support measures planned for the selected projects and research units, as well asother related matters.
During the Q&A and discussion session, many questions and comments were raised, extending beyond the originally scheduled time. The enthusiasm of the principal investigators was clearly evident, making this a highly lively session and generating strong expectations for the future development of the projects.
