J-PEAKS Collaborative Research Platform Progress Report and Networking Event

On Friday, March 13, the J-PEAKS Collaborative Research Platform Progress Report and Networking Event was held at the Administration Bureau, aiming to promote research progress, share challenges, and create opportunities for new collaborations through networking among researchers.

A total of 56 participants attended the event, including researchers and mentors from selected research units within the Collaborative Research Platform, members of J-PEAKS support organizations, researchers supported by the FOREST program, and Ambitious Tenure-Track faculty members.

In the first session, the event opened with remarks by Executive Vice President Tsuyoshi Setoguchi, followed by presentations from each research unit under the Collaborative Research Platform on their research progress and future plans. During the subsequent discussion, participants engaged in active exchanges on the future direction of the J-PEAKS initiative and the Collaborative Research Platform.

At the second part of the event, the researcher networking session opened with remarks by Vice President Hiroshi Amitsuka. Throughout the session, a warm and friendly atmosphere prevailed, allowing participants to engage in lively exchanges of information and opinions that transcended research fields and positions, further deepening their interactions.
