Professor Masahiro Sonoshita of the Institute for Genetic Medicine, Hokkaido University, has identified GPx4 as a novel therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer—an anticipated major health challenge also during future long-term space habitation—and has published these findings in Molecular Therapy.
