At the talk session of the Hokkaido University Frontier Foundation networking event, “Hokudai Tech Bridge: Co-Creating Society for the Future,” held on November 27, 2025, Professor Sonoshita of the Institute for Genetic Medicine, Hokkaido University, and co-investigator Professor Yamaguchi of the Institute of Low Temperature Science, Hokkaido University, introduced their project, “Basic Research for Expanding the Human Habitat.”
